Description
BWA2.0
Professional Body Water Analyzer
In the last 20 years, body composition analysis has established itself as a standard practice in various fields, and InBody has continuously strived to further expand its application to specialized areas, such as dialysis, rehabilitation, nutrition, and etc.
With the need for the precise measurement of body water, InBody introduces a new standard for body water analysis, BWA2.0.
The BWA2.0 is equipped with state-of-the-art 3MHz technology and provides extensive research parameters for professionals to better suit diverse patients with different conditions and medical specialties than ever before.
BWA2.0 Key Features
| InBody’s Accurate 3MHz Measurement Technology
InBody technology uses a 3MHz frequency to penetrate cell membranes effectively, providing more accurate Total Body Water measurements by better reflecting Intracellular Water.
| Clamp Electrode for High Reproducibility
The Clamp Electrode combines two forcep electrodes attached to the wrist and ankle, ensuring high reproducibility. Its flexible design maintains close adherence during joint movements.
| Statistical Analysis by Age
InBody analyzes 13 million data sets, providing average and standard deviation graphs for each parameter by age. This allows for objective comparisons within and across age groups for body composition analysis.
| 7 Different Result Sheets for In-depth Analysis
Provides 7 different result sheets to fulfill all the needs of researchers: Body Composition, Body Water, Children, Evaluation, Research, Comparison and Thermal Result Sheet.
InBody Test Result Sheet
Body Composition
Result Sheet
The BWA2.0 Body Composition Result Sheet offers a comprehensive breakdown of muscle, fat, and body water. Additionally, it provides advanced insights including Visceral Fat Area, Whole Body and Segmental ECW Ratio, Whole Body and Segmental Phase Angle, offering deeper understanding of body water balance and cellular health.
Body Water
Result Sheet
The BWA2.0 Body Water Result Sheet provides a comprehensive analysis of body water, including Segmental ECW Ratio Analysis and Segmental Body Water Analysis. This detailed assessment allows for a nuanced understanding of fluid distribution in each body segment, enabling the identification of unusual shifts that may arise from factors such as injury, aging, obesity, edema, and other health conditions.
Additionally, the Water Control shows the water level to be controlled based on the ECW ratio, that is set differently according to the presence or absence of complications.
Evaluation
Result Sheet
Evaluation Result Sheet provides averages and standard deviation graphs for each result parameter according to the gender and age. It allows for comparative evaluation between different or same age groups for a more objective body composition analysis.
Comparison
Result Sheet
The BWA2.0 Comparison Result Sheet provides Cole-Cole plot graphs along with other significant parameters to compare previous and current results.
Research
Result Sheet
The BWA2.0 Research Result Sheet incorporates frequently used parameters and provides segmental graphs that offer a more comprehensive analysis.
Children
Result Sheet
The BWA2.0 Children Result Sheet offers a comprehensive breakdown of muscle, fat, and body water in children aged 3 to 18 years old. With the inclusion of growth graphs derived from authoritative sources such as the WHO and CDC, it serves as a valuable tool for monitoring a child’s growth and development.
